Dreaming of red, white and blue Christmas

Jeff Sattler is dreaming of a red, white and blue Christmas. Sattler owns Pay Forward America, a military- and veterans-themed greeting card company.
“We’ve developed a company that delivers patriotic cards,” he told the Florida Veterans Council at its last regular meeting, Thursday, Nov. 20. He added, “We want to help the organizations that help our military and veterans.”
Sattler, of Palm Beach Gardens, got an idea to create a whole line of military- and veterans-themed greeting cards, for birthdays, anniversaries, special events and holidays. The disabled 1980s Navy veteran quit his job at a magazine earlier this year, then set out to create more of the cards and get them in front of buyers’ eyes. He’s now negotiating with a major retailer, and looking for venture capital.
“This idea when it goes big, it’s going to go big,” he said in an interview after the meeting.
