Now in its 14th year, the annual Dogs For Life Howl-O-Ween Pawrade fundraiser was a smash once again Oct. 24 in Vero Beach.
Nearly 100 owners and their dogs flocked to the Off Leash Dog Park to march in costumes ranging from a horse and jockey to Little Red Riding Hood.
Hundreds of others came to show support for Dogs For Life, and to donate toward its mission of helping those who need it from four-legged friends.
Representatives from the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit put on a dog-handling display. Other representatives included a contingent from the Vero Beach Veterinary Hospital.
