The veterans’ employment picture is looking good these days, but those seeking work can get help at the Veteran Infused Employment Workshop, or VIEW.
“The workshops are catered to veterans,” Annie Artis, community employment coordinator at the Orlando Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, said. “If they come they’re definitely going to have a lot of information and they have a lot of homework.”
The workshop will be Monday, Sept. 12 to Thursday, Sept. 15. It’ll be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. all four days. Handy to know that lunch will not be provided. The workshop will be at the Orlando VA Medical Center, 13800 Veterans Way, which has a cafeteria. The workshop is open to all veterans regardless of discharge status or VA enrollment, along with the spouses and children of veterans.
